Our Story

Ron and Rene first met in 2014 in Bali. Ron, as the CEO of DestinAsian Media Group, was bound to cross paths with Rene, who at the time was the Director of Sales & Marketing for Fairmont Bali. Their partnership was getting more frequent and solid when Rene moved to Fairmont Jakarta, as they often collaborated to organize spectacular events in the city.

Ron’s prominent publications and network of influencers and socialites, combined with Rene’s strong sales & marketing skills, have resulted in successful events with outstanding exposures. Rene and his team even received an award for Best Marketing Department in Indonesia and Asia Pacific from the International Hotelier Awards, thanks to the events they organized together.

Throughout the years, Ron and Rene’s partnership, as well as friendship, kept growing and getting stronger as they shared many like-minded interests. In 2021, Rene became the Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing for three Hyatt properties in Bali – Grand Hyatt Bali, Hyatt Regency Bali and Andaz Bali, which at the time was in the pre-opening stage. Ron and DestinAsian Media Group provided much support for the opeing phase of Andaz Bali, not only with editorial support, but also significant network and exposures from key opinion leaders, that it was acknowledged as one of the best Hyatt opening worldwide.

The best of friends often share their vision and mission in life, and one evening, over some glasses of fine wines, Ron and Rene were inspired by the potential success they could achieve by combining their strengths. Ron with his knowledge and network in media and advertisement industry, and Rene with his natural skills in sales and marketing, were set to join forces and establish an elaborate company that caters to the hospitality industry’s sales and marketing needs.

After meticulously working and fine-tuning every detail, the partners proudly introduces SCOP3 Group in 2022, equipped with a team of experts focusing on Communication, Advisory and Contracting services. What sets SCOP3 Group apart above the rest is that beyond the Communication and Advisory services, Ron and Rene also aim to maximize revenue and deliver profitable results to the clients with their Contracting service.

Ronald Liem
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Ronald is the founder and CEO of DestinAsian Media Group. Born in Jakarta, he studied in America and England before returning to Indonesia to work as an investment banker. He founded DestinAsian Media Group in 2001 with the launch of his first magazine, DestinAsian. The company's headquarters are in Singapore, with representative offices in Jakarta and a number of Asia-Pacific countries.
Rene Mayer
CO-FOUNDER & CEO
Rene began his journey in the hospitality sector when he was 17 years old, working for leading hotel groups in Europe. He secured prominent positions with international hospitality brands, including InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Kempinski Hotels, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Throughout his professional journey in Indonesia, Rene has received accolades for his work in sales and marketing, including Sales Hotelier of the Year for the Asia-Pacific region at the 2016 BMW Hotelier Awards, and Best Marketing Department in Indonesia and Asia Pacific at the International Hotelier Awards. LinkedIn honored Rene with a Power Profile Award in 2017 as the most searched hotelier profile in Indonesia.

Khika Mahardhika

Account Director – Jakarta

Khika has over 15 years of experience in public relations and marketing communications. She is highly familiar with planning and executing strategic and integrated marketing communications initiatives for luxury 5-star hotels, including promotional collateral production, marketing partnerships, advertising, public relations, media relations, and event management.

In her previous roles as Director of Marketing Communications for Keraton at the Plaza, A Luxury Collection Hotel, and most recently at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta, Khika enriched her experience and elevated her skills as a public relations and marketing communications professional in the hospitality and lifestyle industry.

Ribka Caroline

ACCOUNT Director - BALI

Ribka Caroline brings a decade of diverse professional experience, seamlessly transitioning from a creative role to client service. Having spent five years at a multinational agency, she excels in digital and activation marketing strategies, achieving remarkable results such as exceeding visitor targets by 100% and orchestrating innovative customer activities.

Previously a Senior Account Executive at ADK Connect Emotions, Ribka managed high-profile accounts such as Toyota and VIT Levite, consistently meeting sales KPIs and driving successful campaigns. A master's candidate in Sociology and graduate in Visual Communication Design, she pairs her creative flair with strategic insights, making her an invaluable Account Manager for SCOP3 Group.

Akhmad Z. Nurrafi

ACCOUNT MANAGER – Jakarta

Rafi is a seasoned PR and Communications professional with over six years of experience across multinational and local agency environments. He specializes in developing strategic campaigns that elevate brand presence and build meaningful partnerships. His experience includes handling multinational clients such as The LEGO Group, as well as driving marketing communications initiatives at a technology-driven food delivery company, contributing to brand growth and deeper consumer engagement.

With a strategic mindset and a passion for impactful storytelling, Rafi delivers integrated communications that connect brands with audiences in relevant and measurable ways.

Lala Ahmad

ASSOCIATE ACCOUNT MANAGER – BALI

Lala is a dynamic Public Relations enthusiast and recent graduate brimming with enthusiasm and a sharp intellect. With a strong passion for effective communication, Lala is poised to make a significant impact on our team.

Combined with her outstanding academic achievements, Lala possesses exceptional interpersonal skills and a talent for cultivating meaningful relationships. Her fresh perspective, quick thinking, and unwavering dedication make her an invaluable asset in supporting our clients' PR objectives.

Dykie Madhianto

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – JAKARTA

Dykie Madhianto is a Marketing Communications professional with over two years of experience in executing marketing strategies and corporate events. Previously an Account Executive at Plataran Indonesia, Dykie successfully enhanced the company’s market presence through strategic KOL collaborations and digital marketing activations. He specialises in driving brand visibility and engagement across multiple channels.

With a background in digital communication strategies, Dykie has contributed to the planning and execution of various promotional campaigns and events, ensuring alignment with strategic marketing goals. Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, English, and French, Dykie brings a global perspective and a collaborative approach to his work in the hospitality and lifestyle industries.

Ivonanda Nindya

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – BALI

Ivonanda Nindya is a seasoned professional in digital marketing and communications, with a Master’s degree in Digital Marketing and Analytics from the University of Indonesia and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Brawijaya University. She has excelled in brand management, consumer acquisition, and corporate communications at Menarini Indonesia, Erajaya Swasembada, Glints Indonesia, and Danone.

As an Account Executive, Ivonanda leverages her expertise to provide strategic support. Her experience includes developing brand strategies, leading communication initiatives, and managing major events, making her an invaluable asset to the team.

Angela Gina

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – JAKARTA

Gina is an Account Executive with experience managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from global entertainment platforms such as Disney+ Hotstar to premium lifestyle and retail brands like Plaza Indonesia. She brings a strong foundation in communications from her academic background, equipping her with both strategic thinking and executional discipline.

In her role, Gina supports clients through clear coordination, thoughtful campaign planning, and detail-oriented project management. With skills spanning client servicing, digital and integrated marketing, cross-team collaboration, and day-to-day campaign execution, she is committed to helping brands deliver effective, well-aligned solutions that drive meaningful results for our clients.

Putri Surya

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – BALI

Putri Surya is a young sales and marketing administration professional with a degree in hospitality management. Experienced in payment handling, business proposals, reporting and guest relations, she has interned with the Sales & Marketing team of W Bali Seminyak and supported delegates of a major G20 event during Indonesia’s 2023 presidency of the intergovernmental forum.

Diligent and hardworking, Putri will contribute her strong communication and critical thinking skills to the team.

Triyasa Panji B

PUBLIC RELATIONS ASSISTANT – JAKARTA

Panji is a PR and Communications professional currently serving as a PR Assistant, where he supports strategic brand positioning and media engagement within the fashion and luxury sectors. He has honed his skills in public relations, social media strategy, and digital communications through hands-on experience developing compelling content and managing brand narratives across platforms.

Prior to his current role, Panji gained experience working on communications and branding initiatives that strengthened audience engagement and storytelling impact in dynamic market environments. As an international relations graduate, he offers expertise in business relations, content development, and integrated communications, delivering effective, results-driven solutions for our clients.

Almira Wirawan

PUBLIC RELATIONS ASSISTANT – BALI

Almira Wirawan is a driven PR Assistant with a strong foundation in hospitality and an unwavering commitment to service excellence. Having honed her communication and leadership skills in Bali’s leading hotels and resorts, Almira brings a deep understanding of guest experience to the world of public relations.

Her background in luxury hospitality, combined with her natural warmth and professionalism, allows her to support SCOP3 Group’s clients with grace and precision. With keen attention to detail and a passion for storytelling, Almira plays a vital role in shaping compelling narratives for our hospitality, luxury, and lifestyle brands.

Wafiq Giotama

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER – BALI

Wafiq Giotama brings over a decade of experience across multiple industries. He began his career as an entrepreneur, successfully running his own business for nine years before transitioning into the education sector as a digital content creator. Most recently, he worked at DestinAsian Media Group, a leading luxury lifestyle media company, where he refined his skills in content creation and digital strategy.


Currently serving as Social Media Manager at SCOP3, Wafiq leverages his diverse background to deliver impactful content strategies that not only engage audiences but also align with the company’s business objectives.

Gregorius Franciskus

DIRECTOR OF SALES

Gregorius is a results-driven sales professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, specializing in sales and marketing. With a track record of exceeding targets, he thrives under tight deadlines and consistently delivers results ahead of schedule. His commitment to continuous learning enables him to stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics.

Gregorius has previously held key positions at Bloo Bali Hotel, S18 Bali Villas, Element by Westin Bali Ubud, and Kamandalu Ubud, among others. His strategic approach involves maintaining strong relationships with hotel partners, monitoring revenue forecasts, and collaborating closely with various departments to drive business success.

Ena Kimura

DIRECTOR OF SALES – JAPAN

With more than ten years of experience in the hospitality sector, Ena has held key roles including Sales Manager and Assistant Director of Leisure Sales at Intercontinental Bali Resort. Subsequently she contributed to its wholesale business, mainly handling the Japanese, Korean, and Australian wholesale markets.

As part of the SCOP3 team, Ena will use her experience in the Japanese market to focus on growing, navigating, and identifying potential new national and international Japanese clients. Through her expertise and skills in sales and marketing, she will assist in boosting the growth and segmentation of the Japanese market.

Ary Stevani

SALES Manager

Ary began her career in international chain establishments including Le Meridien Nirwana Bali Resort & Spa. Her experience and skills thrived after joining Holiday Inn Resort Bali and InterContinental Bali Resort.

Now, with over 16 years of experience in sales and reservations, as SCOP3’s Sales Executive Ary will assist in handling tours and guest activities, creating exclusive packages and activities for guests and clients.

Cynthia Ranis

Director Of E-Commerce

Cynthia is a digital marketing and e-commerce specialist with rich experience in the hospitality sector, including as Corporate E-Commerce Manager at various hotels in Bali. Fluent in hotel reservation systems, she has managed multi-platform online distribution channels including rate parity, and has also developed exemplary business relationships with the account managers of leading online travel agents.

As leader of SCOP3’s e-commerce team, Cynthia will oversee and assist clients in maximizing room yield, identifying strategic revenue management, controlling rate management, developing marketing strategies, and managing product development through e-commerce activations.
