Our Story
Ronald Liem and Rene Mayer first met in Bali in 2014. As CEO of DestinAsian Media Group — publisher of Indonesia’s leading travel and lifestyle titles — Ron was destined to cross paths with Rene, then Director of Sales & Marketing at Fairmont Bali. When Rene later moved to Fairmont Jakarta, their friendship deepened as they collaborated on high-profile hospitality and lifestyle events in the capital.
Ron’s influential publications and network of media and key opinion leaders, combined with Rene’s award-winning expertise in sales, marketing, and public relations, resulted in impactful events and outstanding exposure. Their success was recognized when Rene’s team was named Best Marketing Department in Indonesia and Asia Pacific by the International Hotelier Awards.
