Our Story

Ronald Liem and Rene Mayer first met in Bali in 2014. As CEO of DestinAsian Media Group — which produces Indonesia’s leading travel and lifestyle titles — Ron was destined to cross paths with Rene, who at the time was Fairmont Bali’s Director of Sales & Marketing. When Rene moved to Fairmont Jakarta their friendship was strengthened, and often collaborated on spectacular events in the city.

Ron’s prominent publications and network of influencers and key opinion leaders, combined with Rene’s strong sales and marketing skills, have resulted in successful events with outstanding exposure. As a testament to the success of their collaborations, Rene and his team were named Best Marketing Department in Indonesia and Asia Pacific by the International Hotelier Awards. In 2021, Rene became Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing for three Hyatt properties: Grand Hyatt Bali, Hyatt Regency Bali, and Andaz Bali, which at the time was in the pre-opening phase. Ron and DestinAsian Media Group provided extensive support for the opening of the new Hyatt property, not only in terms of editorial, but also with exposure to Ron’s significant network and key opinion leaders. It was acknowledged as one of the best Hyatt openings worldwide.

As their vision and mission increasingly aligned, Ron and Rene began to imagine what they could achieve by combining their experience, strengths and networks. They decided to join forces and establish a world-class company catering to the hospitality sector’s unique sales and marketing needs.

After establishing a team of experts in Communications, Representation, and Contracting, the partners proudly introduced SCOP3 Group in 2022. What sets SCOP3 Group apart, however, is that beyond these services, Ron and Rene strive to maximize their partners’ revenues and deliver profitable results.

Ronald Liem
Ronald is the founder and CEO of DestinAsian Media Group. Born in Jakarta, he studied in America and England before returning to Indonesia to work as an investment banker. He founded DestinAsian Media Group in 2001 with the launch of his first magazine, DestinAsian. The company's headquarters are in Singapore, with representative offices in Jakarta and a number of Asia-Pacific countries.
Rene Mayer
Rene began his journey in the hospitality sector when he was 17 years old, working for leading hotel groups in Europe. He secured prominent positions with international hospitality brands, including InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Kempinski Hotels, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Throughout his professional journey in Indonesia, Rene has received accolades for his work in sales and marketing, including Sales Hotelier of the Year for the Asia-Pacific region at the 2016 BMW Hotelier Awards, and Best Marketing Department in Indonesia and Asia Pacific at the International Hotelier Awards. LinkedIn honored Rene with a Power Profile Award in 2017 as the most searched hotelier profile in Indonesia.


Khika Mahardhika

Account Director – Jakarta

Khika has over 15 years of experience in public relations and marketing communications. She is highly familiar with planning and executing strategic and integrated marketing communications initiatives for luxury 5-star hotels, including promotional collateral production, marketing partnerships, advertising, public relations, media relations, and event management.

In her previous roles as Director of Marketing Communications for Keraton at the Plaza, A Luxury Collection Hotel, and most recently at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta, Khika enriched her experience and elevated her skills as a public relations and marketing communications professional in the hospitality and lifestyle industry.

Oka Ciptantio Octorama

Account Director – Bali

Oka is a communications specialist with experience in strategy and execution, media relations, and digital and social media, as well as crisis communications for multi national companies, NGOs, and government agencies.

In his previous roles with multi national communications agencies, Oka enriched his experience in strategy development and execution, building relationships with key media and designing strategies to suit client needs. He is an aspiring public relations leader in the hospitality and lifestyle industries.

Mutia Sarie

Account Director – Bali

With over a decade’s experience as a public relations and marketing communications professional, Mutia has developed and executed successful comprehensive public outreach campaigns and formulated effective marketing strategies. As her previous roles include Corporate Director of Marketing, Public Relations Manager, and Marketing Communications Manager within renowned international hotel chains such as The Apurva Kempinski Bali, Anantara Seminyak Bali Resort, and The Hermitage, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Jakarta, she brings a wealth of expertise to the table.

Proficient in event planning, social media management, digital marketing, and the hospitality management industry, Mutia is adept at assembling high-performing and dedicated teams, and consistently meeting challenging corporate objectives. Known for her exceptional abilities, Mutia’s expertise is sure to bring outstanding results for our company and clients.

Yoshanna Korompis


Before joining SCOP3, Yoshanna held the esteemed position of PR & Marketing Manager at Apurva Kempinski Bali for over five years, including as a member of the pre-opening team. During her tenure she honed her skills in a wide array of specializations, and led the luxury resort’s communications for hosting Indonesia’s G20 Summit in November 2022.

Yoshanna’s dedication, enthusiasm, rich industry knowledge and innovative ideas combined with her exceptional skills ensure she is capable of enhancing our client services and consistently delivering results.

Sekar Lenggo Geni


Sekar brings a wealth of experience from vibrant firms such as Pinc Group and Pantarei Communications, renowned 360-integrated marketing agencies that thrive on innovative thinking and swift teamwork. With unwavering dedication to public relations and digital marketing, she consistently pursues the pinnacle of media exposure and digital impact for her clients.

Having conducted significant activations with solid planning and collaboration in the dynamic world of marketing, Sekar takes immense pride in showcasing her accomplishments that have reshaped industries and elevated brands.

Mirza Firdaus


Mirza is a digital marketer, photographer, videographer, and graphic design enthusiast. His passion for digital media is instrumental for the SCOP3 Group in developing innovative social media content.

His experience in international establishments such as Marriott International, Accor, Best Western Hotels & Resorts, and Topotels Hotels & Resorts immersed him in the hospitality and social media sectors. Mirza broadened his scope as a graphic designer to further enhance his skills in developing and executing social media promotions and marketing campaigns.

Nuzulla Alvilia Ahmad


Nuzulla is a dynamic PR Assistant and recent graduate brimming with enthusiasm and a sharp intellect. With a strong passion for effective communication, Nuzulla is poised to make a significant impact on our team.

Combined with her outstanding academic achievements, Nuzulla possesses exceptional interpersonal skills and a talent for cultivating meaningful relationships. Her fresh perspective, quick thinking, and unwavering dedication make her an invaluable asset in supporting our clients' PR objectives.

Ena Kimura


With more than ten years of experience in the hospitality sector, Ena has held key roles including Sales Manager and Assistant Director of Leisure Sales at Intercontinental Bali Resort. Subsequently she contributed to its wholesale business, mainly handling the Japanese, Korean, and Australian wholesale markets..

As part of the SCOP3 team, Ena will use her experience in the Japanese market to focus on growing, navigating, and identifying potential new national and international Japanese clients. Through her expertise and skills in sales and marketing, she will assist in boosting the growth and segmentation of the Japanese market.

Gotama Dipta


Beginning his career at Alila Villas Uluwatu, Dipta’s trajectory in sales has taken him to international hotel chains such as Hilton Bali Resort, Grand Nikko Bali, and Nikko Bali Benoa Beach. He has enriched his knowledge of the hospitality sector through operational department roles at Bulgari Hotel & Resort Bali and Harris Bukit Jimbaran.

Gotama is instrumental in developing new sales accounts as well as maintaining business relationships for the company. His role includes building beneficial partnerships with clients to support sales and revenue.

Ary Stevani


Ary began her career in international chain establishments including Le Meridien Nirwana Bali Resort & Spa. Her experience and skills thrived after joining Holiday Inn Resort Bali and InterContinental Bali Resort.

Now, with over 16 years of experience in sales and reservations, as SCOP3’s Sales Executive Ary will assist in handling tours and guest activities, creating exclusive packages and activities for guests and clients.

Cynthia Ranis

Director Of E-Commerce

Cynthia is a digital marketing and e-commerce specialist with rich experience in the hospitality sector, including as Corporate E-Commerce Manager at various hotels in Bali. Fluent in hotel reservation systems, she has managed multi-platform online distribution channels including rate parity, and has also developed exemplary business relationships with the account managers of leading online travel agents.

As leader of SCOP3’s e-commerce team, Cynthia will oversee and assist clients in maximizing room yield, identifying strategic revenue management, controlling rate management, developing marketing strategies, and managing product development through e-commerce activations.

Ruth Adytia


A graduate of Binus University in Jakarta, Ruth has over five years of experience in administration and marketing. Beginning her career at Balagi Dilmoni Indonesia, she was soon promoted to Assistant Marketing Manager.

Ruth’s enthusiasm and consistency have enabled her to build her credentials in sales. She brings a fresh perspective to overseeing and handling SCOP3 Group’s sales, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable process from start to finish.
