Our Story

Ron and Rene first met in 2014 in Bali. Ron, as the CEO of DestinAsian Media Group, was bound to cross paths with Rene, who at the time was the Director of Sales & Marketing for Fairmont Bali. Their partnership was getting more frequent and solid when Rene moved to Fairmont Jakarta, as they often collaborated to organize spectacular events in the city.

Ron’s prominent publications and network of influencers and socialites, combined with Rene’s strong sales & marketing skills, have resulted in successful events with outstanding exposures. Rene and his team even received an award for Best Marketing Department in Indonesia and Asia Pacific from the International Hotelier Awards, thanks to the events they organized together.

Throughout the years, Ron and Rene’s partnership, as well as friendship, kept growing and getting stronger as they shared many like-minded interests. In 2021, Rene became the Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing for three Hyatt properties in Bali – Grand Hyatt Bali, Hyatt Regency Bali and Andaz Bali, which at the time was in the pre-opening stage. Ron and DestinAsian Media Group provided much support for the opeing phase of Andaz Bali, not only with editorial support, but also significant network and exposures from key opinion leaders, that it was acknowledged as one of the best Hyatt opening worldwide.

The best of friends often share their vision and mission in life, and one evening, over some glasses of fine wines, Ron and Rene were inspired by the potential success they could achieve by combining their strengths. Ron with his knowledge and network in media and advertisement industry, and Rene with his natural skills in sales and marketing, were set to join forces and establish an elaborate company that caters to the hospitality industry’s sales and marketing needs.

After meticulously working and fine-tuning every detail, the partners proudly introduces SCOP3 Group in 2022, equipped with a team of experts focusing on Communication, Advisory and Contracting services. What sets SCOP3 Group apart above the rest is that beyond the Communication and Advisory services, Ron and Rene also aim to maximize revenue and deliver profitable results to the clients with their Contracting service.

Ronald Liem
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Ronald Liem is the CEO and founder of DestinAsian Indonesia. Born in Jakarta, he studied for a short time in America and England before returning to Indonesia to work as an investment banker. Ronald Liem founded the DestinAsian Media Group in 2001 with the publication of his first magazine, DestinAsian. The company's headquarters are in Singapore, with representative offices in Jakarta and a number of Asian Pacific countries.
Rene Mayer
FOUNDER & MANAGING DIRECTOR
A seasoned hotelier, Rene started his journey in the hospitality industry since he was 17 years old with leading hotel groups in Europe. He then secured prominent positions in international hospitality brands, including InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Kempinski Hotels, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Throughout his professional journey in Indonesia, Rene has received accolades for his work in sales and marketing, including Sales Hotelier of the Year 2016 for the Asia-Pacific region at the BMW Hotelier Awards, and the Best Marketing Department in Indonesia and Asia Pacific at the International Hotelier Awards. Furthermore, LinkedIn honored Rene with a Power Profile Award in 2017 as the most searched hotelier profile in Indonesia.

OUR TEAM

Khika Mahardhika

Account Director – Jakarta

Khika has amassed more than 15 years of experience in public relations and marketing communications. She is highly familiar with planning and executing strategic and integrated marketing communications initiatives for luxury 5-star hotels, including promotional collateral production, marketing partnerships, advertising, public relations, media relations, and event management.

In her last two assignments as Director of Marketing Communications at Keraton at the Plaza, A Luxury Collection Hotel, and most recently at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta, Khika enriched her experience and elevated her skills to become an aspiring public relations and marketing communications leader in hospitality and the lifestyle industry.

Oka Ciptantio Octorama

Account Director – Bali

Oka is a communication specialist gaining experience in various sectors ranging from strategy and execution, media relations, digital and social media, and handling communications crises for various multi-national companies, NGOs, and government agencies.

In his previous assignments with multi-national communication agencies, Oka enriched his experience in communications strategy development and execution. With his keen enthusiasm, he has built relationships with key media targets designing media strategies to suit clients' needs. He elevated his skills becoming an aspirant public relations leader in hospitality and the lifestyle industry.

Mutia Sarie

Account Director – Bali

As an accomplished professional in public relations and marketing communications for over a decade, Mutia has successfully developed and executed comprehensive public outreach campaigns, resulting in increased media exposure and the formulation of effective marketing strategies. With previous experience as a Corporate Director of Marketing, as well as roles as a Public Relations Manager and Marketing Communications Manager within renowned international hotel chains like The Apurva Kempinski Bali, Anantara Seminyak Bali Resort and The Hermitage, a Tribute Portfolio Jakarta, she brings a wealth of expertise to the table.

Known for her exceptional abilities, her expertise is sure to bring outstanding results for our company and clients. Proficient in event planning, social media management, digital marketing, and the hospitality management industry. Recognized for her talent in assembling high-performing and dedicated teams, she consistently meets challenging corporate objectives.

Yoshanna Korompis

ACCOUNT MANAGER – BALI

Yoshanna is our accomplished Account Manager with over a decade of experience in the prestigious hospitality industry.

Formerly serving as the Public Relations & Marketing Manager at The Apurva Kempinski Bali, a renowned five-star luxury resort, Yoshanna brings a wealth of expertise in crafting stories that align with the brand’s identity and executing successful PR campaigns. With her strategic acumen and deep industry insights, Yoshanna is committed to delivering exceptional results for our valued clients.

Sekar Lenggo Geni

ASSOCIATE ACCOUNT MANAGER – JAKARTA

Sekar comes with a wealth of experience from vibrant settings like Pinc Group and Pantarei Communications, renowned 360-integrated marketing agencies that thrive on innovative thinking and swift teamwork. Her unwavering dedication to the realms of public relations and digital marketing is palpable, as she consistently pursues the pinnacle of media exposure and digital impact for her clients.

Conducting significant activations with solid planning and collaboration in the dynamic world of marketing, Sekar takes immense pride in showcasing her accomplishments that have reshaped industries and elevated brands.

Mirza Firdaus

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Mirza is a digital marketer, photographer, videographer, and graphic design enthusiast. His passion for digital media is instrumental for the SCOP3 group in developing innovative content for SCOP3's social media.

His experience in international establishments such as Mariott International, Accor, Best Western Hotels & Resorts, and Topotels Hotels & Resorts exposed him to the hospitality and social media industry. Mirza broadened his scope as a graphic designer to enhance his skills further in developing and executing social media promotions and marketing campaigns.

Nuzulla Alvilia Ahmad

PUBLIC RELATIONS ASSISTANT

Introducing Nuzulla, our dynamic PR Assistant and recent graduate brimming with enthusiasm and a sharp intellect. With a strong passion for effective communication, Nuzulla is poised to make a significant impact on our team.

Coupled with her outstanding academic achievements, Nuzulla possesses exceptional interpersonal skills and a talent for cultivating meaningful relationships. Her fresh perspective, quick thinking, and unwavering dedication make her an invaluable asset in supporting our clients' PR objectives.

Ena Kimura

DIRECTOR OF SALES – JAPAN

With more than 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, she has fulfilled key roles such as Sales Manager and Assistant Director of Leisure Sales at Intercontinental Bali Resort, subsequently contributing to their wholesale business mainly taking care of Japan, Korea, and the Australian wholesale market.

As part of the SCOP3 team, Ena will use her experience in Japan market to focus on growing, navigating, and identifying new potential national and international Japanese markets. Through her expertise and skills in sales and marketing, she will assist in boosting the growth and segmentation of the Japanese market.

Gotama Dipta

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF SALES

Dipta is instrumental in developing new sales accounts as well as maintaining business relationships for the company. His role includes building beneficial partnerships with clients to support sales and revenue.

He began his career as a sales intern at Alila Villas Uluwatu. Dipta’s career path in sales has taken him to international chain establishments such as Grand Nikko Bali, Hilton Bali Resort, and Nikko Bali Benoa Beach. He has also enriched his skills and knowledge of the hotel business thanks to taking operational department stints at Bulgari Hotel & Resort Bali and Harris Bukit Jimbaran.

Ary Stevani

SALES EXECUTIVE

Ary has more than 16 years of experience in Sales and Reservation. As the SCOP3 team's sales executive she will assist in handling tours and guest activities creating exclusive packages and activities for guests and clients.

She began her career in international chain establishments starting as a Reservation trainee at Le Meridien Nirwana Bali Resort & Spa. Ary's career path in sales thrived when she joined Holiday Inn Resort Bali and InterContinental Bali Resort. Her experiences enriched her skills and knowledge in the hospitality industry to grow and establish herself.

Cynthia Ranis

Director Of E-Commerce

Cynthia is digital marketing and e-commerce specialist with a rich experience in hospitality industry. In her capacity as a professional leader for the e-commerce team, she will oversee and assist clients in maximizing room yield, identifying strategic revenue management, controlling rate management, developing marketing strategies, and product development through e-commerce activations. Her experiences at various hotels in Bali as Corporate E-Commerce Manager have shaped her to establish herself as Director of E-Commerce at SCOP3 Group.

Cynthia is fluent with the hotel reservation system, managing multi platform online distribution channels including rate parity, and furthermore, managing an exemplary business relationship with the account managers from big names in the online travel agent industry

Ruth Adytia

SALES ADMINISTRATION

Young, eager to learn, and energetic Ruth graduated from Binus University and has more than 5 years of experience in Administration and as Assistant Marketing Manager. Ruth will bring a fresh new perspective to overseeing and handling SCOP3 Group's sales to ensure a smooth connection.

Ruth began her journey in sales in Balagi Dilmoni Indonesia advancing her career in the same company to become the Assistant Marketing Manager. Her enthusiasm and consistency allowed her to build her credentials in sales.
